Just arrived and still jet lagged

Hi, just arrived here in Singapore from Ottawa, Canada. 

The job let's me travel from time to time usually around the summer, the last two summers I've had the opportunity to be in KSA and Egypt, met lots of great people and was able to take in the sights and culture.  I'm hoping to do the same in Singapore since I'll be here until the end of summer.

So far I was able to check out the Everton vs arsenal game, had a Singapore sling on marina bay...I know, tough life, right?

Anyways was hoping to meet some like minded people maybe to hit up some Kopi or a drink after work and see where we can go from there.

Would love to check out some tourist traps and some places off the beaten path of anyone would care to join.
