Hi,

The Lorenzo Natali Media Prize, organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development since 1992, is awarded to journalists who report on development, and in particular on the eradication of poverty.

The competition is open to professional journalists working for all different media types. For the first time, amateur journalists, including bloggers, can also apply for the Prize.

The motto for this year's edition is 'Today's stories can change our tomorrow'.

The Lorenzo Natali Media Prize will be awarded to one amateur and one professional journalist from the following five regions: Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Arab World, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as Asia and the Pacific. Each winner will receive a trophy and cash prize of €5,000.

f you have written or reported on development and poverty eradication, whether you are a  professional or amateur journalist, you can apply before 31 August 2015 on the following link: http://lorenzonataliprize.eu/login.php

You can find more details on: https://ec.europa.eu/europeaid/lnp/rules_en

Thanks and best of luck,
