I am a student and plan to study in "Universität München", so I was hoping if you could tell me about the average living expenses in the city and if I can find a room for about 300 euros only.
I hope you help me in this matter

Since you will be a student: The cheapest rooms in Munich are subsidized ones in student hostels. They cost slightly above €300/month (utilities like heating, electricity, etc, go on top of that and can add another €100). Contact the Studentenwerk to apply - but note that waiting lusts are long and you are not assured a place!
On the open market, a room costs €400-600/month (again plus utilities).
Other living expenses will be €600-800/month for a simple student lifestyle (incl. compulsory health insurance, university fees, local transport, daily living expenses, but without any luxuries and travel).
