I will be relocating to Mauritius in August from the UK. My job will be posted in Quartier-Militaire. I have been reviewing areas in which I could live and have identified Grand Baie. Would this be reasonable to travel to each day? Does anyone have any advice on nice locations with reasonable traveling distances to Quartier Militaire? My ideal would be a beach location with good Internet. Thanks!

you'll lose too much time in traffic every morning travelling from grand bay to quartier militaire. My advice is to look for somewhere near St Pierre
