Hello,
I'm looking for a decent mechanic to fix my Defender 110, body work,doors (paint job)and some suspension issues.

Get the parts shipped from the UK (usually the price you see as the VAT is usually equal to the shipping charge) DHL/TNT tend to be best. I use rimmerbrothers for most parts, DavidManners for the car bits.

Buy the mongoose and download the SSD so you can self diagnose as such, and you can get any basic garage to do it.

If you speak nicely the Al-Naghi motors they might take your bits and do the job for a cheap labour cost. If you know what your looking at any of the local mechanics can do it, my guy who doesn't speak english did wishbones, hydraulic engine mounts and new arnott bags for a mega expensive 1000 riyals.

Ohh paint wise there are a few decent guys down just north of the railway station.
