Please could you give me some advice.
I am coming from South Africa and will be working in a resort. I have dine all my medical checks etc. They informed me 2 days ago that they have submitted all the documents in Mauritius.
DO you know how long it should take from now?
Mauritius Working VISA after all docs have been submitted

Howzit,
It took me 20 days from handing in my forms to picking up my work permit. I did it all in Mauritius though.

Yours is an Occupational Permit delivered by the BOI ( it is supposed to be delivered in 3 days but….) , whereby you have to be on the island to apply for it.
What he is asking is the Work Permit delivered by the Ministry of Work , which his employer should apply on his behalf

Yes, my employer submitted my documents 1 week ago so I was just wondering how long the wait should be now?

Anyone's guess - seems that they are delays even for the Occupation Permit .
Work Permit from the Ministry takes longer even during normal time : 4 to 5 weeks
