An oldie, but absolutely one of my favorites! Rothenburg ob der Tauber was just one of those small little towns that absolutely lived up to the hype and really was like walking through a story book!

I don't like Rothenburg o.d.T. - it is overhyped, full of tourists and expensive.
There are plenty of other, less known German towns which are just as pretty and far more authentically German.
