Hi! My name is Foo and my husband and I would like information of retiring to David Panama. Can anyone give us the approimate cost on health insurance down there? My husband is on US Medicare, but he won't be able to use it there, will he? Also, will it be hard to buy 2 scooters there? We would like to find a place to live that is not in the city but close enough to be able to walk or ride the scooter into town! and,,, is the mountains far away? I think the beach is about 30 minutes away, but I am not sure! Does anyone know of a Expat group that is in David? I would like to get in touch with someone from the states that live there now so I can ask a ton more questions! Also, I know this is silly, but is there a restriction of buying alcohol there? I wouldn't think so, but we like to have an occasional night cap!
