I want to open my 1st art gallery in Cape Town at some point in the next few years. My wife and I have been several times and absolutely love it. Is it possible for a foreigner to open a business in South Africa? We'd love to have the business at the Waterfront but are open to other ideas. Any US based citizens been through this process? Are we crazy to try and do this?

you're not crazy Mconi was thrown into a mental institution by his friends more than a century ago for saying he believed we can communicate wirelessly.
But look at us today wireless communication no longer rocket science!
