Hello,
I just wanted some advice on how do find a job in Vietnam, if, I have TEFL & TESOL online certificates and no teaching experience. Should I send my CV to job postings and follow up with a telephone call after? or visit the school in person?
Also, I would like to ask people who have the opted for the online certificates how they found a job in HCMC, because two of the places i've applied to have specifically stated they do not recognize online certificates.
I'm trying to gain experience by volunteering and substitute teaching here and there, but most places seem to want 2 years experience.
What should I do?

I'd try to meet as many local English teachers as you can, get to know the text books they use, then plan how you would use them in class.
As you have no idea which set any given school you might work at uses, get a feel for several sets of books.
Then read every online article you can find.

Are you a native Englsh teacher?
From your profile, I guess you are not.. If so that is the main cause, not online certificate.
Almost schools and language centres prefer native teachers recently.
