The concept of part-time work does not exist in Oman.
You are only allowed to work for the sponsor whose name is printed on your resident card.
If caught by the Ministry of Manpower, while working elsewhere you could get hauled to jail, followed by deportation.
If you are a regular newspaper reader you will know about the 'Surprise Checks' that the Ministry of Manpower authorities conduct on a very regular basis - the reason for them to do is exactly that - to catch the offenders by surprise !
