Hello everyone,

My name is Jose, I'm from Portugal and I'm about to become a Veterinarian.

The scenario isn't very cheerful right now and so I'm looking for a new life and work perspective...and that brought me here. I've seen some posts about costs of living but I'd like to ask a couple questions; about Visa/permits - how can someone who intends to move can apply for one?

Where can I find information about vet jobs/public health/agriculture?

It requires a job offer to apply for a work permit and the employer does that. This website has some international careers http://www.kookaburravets.com/Worldwide/worldwide.htm One issue may be that you dont have any experience. Usually to get a work permit in a foreign country you need to be able to do a job competently and it is a job that a local person cannot be found to undertaken. Taking on a paid internship might help bridge the gap.
