Hello to all my new friends!
I have spent my life working in the medical field and yet I hold a Bachelors Degree in sociology. I have tried several times to apply to get in to a master in nursing program that is a pre-licensure not requiring an RN license as a prerequisite. Unfortunately, even though I have exceeded the minimum criteria required for admission, I have been turned down 4 times due to my status as a single mother.
With the amount of issues our healthcare system is facing and the trouble I have had trying to receive a proper education so that i may provide excellent patient care to those in need, I am considering the idea of studying abroad in Glasgow. Does anyone know if any such program exists for someone who has completed a BA degree in another subject to be able to get a nursing license?

im not sure but research glasgow and strathclyde uni first.... i was interested in finishing my degree but as I've had too much time in between i would have to do a 12 month catch up course.
