Which is the best to study?
Anyone know whether the diplomas offered by these institutes are recognized in Singapore? Will it enable a foreign student to find work in Singapore??

Some things to think about:

1. Singapore is the most expensive city in the world - so you need megabucks to study and live there.
2. It is against the law to enter the country to look for work
3. Usually a student visa will not lead to an employment pass
4. There are hundreds of thousands of foreigners looking to work in Singapore and training there is counterproductive.

While point 1 is certainly true, I tend to disagree to the other ones:
- It is allowed to apply for jobs and attend job interviews while on any visa (incl. SVP or tourist visa)
- A student visa does not "lead" to an employment pass, but having a degree or certificate from Singapore can help finding a job that gives you a work visa - at least you have something to distinguish yourself from the hundreds of thousands other foreigners looking for similar jobs.
