Let me clarify ...
No private hospital in the Sultanate is "the best". They all are equally bad. I am ready for a debate with anyone here who thinks otherwise.
Muscat Private Hospital is a very expensive polyclinic which predominantly caters to the western expatriates.
Medical services in Oman is akin to running any business. Profitability is the sole motive. Nothing else matters.
Patients who come are just opportunities to make more money.
