I am expecting to relocate for work to RAK in July and would like a reaslitic timeline for how long it will take to process the RP. We intend to ship belongings/vehicles/pets with us and it would be great to have an idea of timelines for planning/cost purposes.

In general, it takes around 10 to 12 working days for processing of residence visa!

Wow! That is entirely not what I exected! In Qatar it can take up to 3 months!! I'm guessing Ramadan may slow things down a little.

I'm confused, because why it will take 3-months? Once your sponsor applies for the visa with all the documents, it shouldn't take more than 10 to 12 working days! Ofcourse, delay is possible due to ramadan and/or if there is anything missing or problem in the documents etc.
