Hello everyone,

I am hoping someone will be able to advice me on importing a vehicle to Sri Lanka. I am a Srilankan living and working in UK. I have been wanting to send a vehicle to Sri Lanka so I can use it rather than renting when i visit.

Does anyone know the cheapest way of importing to Sri Lanka?

Hello...

Are you using the vehicle at the moment?If so,you have to pay tax a little lower to the standard tax,which is 300% of the rate of the vehicle which means as three times as the standard rate of the vehicle.As far as I know,275% for used vehicles.The custom has their own valuation for each and every vehicle but there are other ways of bringing the vehicle in.If you want more details,just leave message here.Maybe then we can talk about a communication method.
