Got some questions

How far is Rabaul and Lae from Port Moresby? Are the living conditions there similar to Port Moresby's?
Are there trains going to and from Port Moresby?

There are no trains in PNG. To get anywhere you have to fly. Living conditions are similar.

Google maps will show you how far away from each other they are. You can possibly get a boat from Lae to Rabual but as Stumpy said, the main travel is done via flying.

Hi gracie vb,

I have created a new thread with your post on the Papua New Guinea forum for more visibility and interaction with the other members.

Thanks

POM is more expensive than Lae and Rabaul. You will find more imported stuff here than other cities and road infrastructure is also much better than Lae. Lae is the industrial hub but still lacks infrastructure. Rabaul/Kokopo is a small peaceful scenic town with friendly environment.
