can i claim damage from my company?

here's my story..

My company filed a case against me and thank god i won the case..
i have been battling this for 10months.. i am on their sponsorship, my visa is not yet cancelled.. my question is can i claim damage from my company? which i wasnt able to work for 10months because i am aware here in dubai you should work only under your sponsor visa..

i suffered 10months with no pay, they wasted my time..
any advice please?
