Dear All,
I have a couple of questions. Your urgent reply will be highly appreciated.

1- I have Master in Computer Science degree (2 years) and MS degree from UK in Computer Network (One year). I want to register with Saudi Engineering council as Network Engineer. Is it possible? My bachelor degree is non engineering.

2- Network Engineer category/option is not available in saudi engineering council registration menu.

Please give your valuable comments.

Hi Tayyash,

This is only required for foreign engineer so you can have engineer as you profession in IKAMAH.i am a computer engineer and I am registered with SEC as computer engineer. There is no engineering section for networking or any other minor specialization just only main streams, computer, architecture, civil, mechanical...etc

Anyway, there is no benefit for expat out of SCE it is just to get some money to fund their council, you would notice that while registration. So you are missing nothing. Don't bother yourself with them.

hi ,

im mechanical engineer in my country. so there is section of my field in online form. i tried register accordingly but couldn't get trough . it stated that my info did found in sahar. i came as visitor visa.

if someone having same problem and get through the application pls share the info.
