I want to move from Norway to Slovenia, but we are not EU members.

Hi everyone.
I want to move from Norway to Slovenia for personal reasons, and wanted to ask if anyone has any edvice? Seeing as Norway is not a EU member so I don't apply to the general rules. Much apriciated.

not sure but you can stay 3 months for fact ...maybe u can get some more info during that time

Hey Raine81,

As a European Economic Area citizen (Norway is an EEA country) you have the right to free movement within the EU. Thus, as a standard:

> you can travel in Slovenia (as part of the EU) with your passport or ID - you can go on the EU lane at the airport or when driving in,
> you can stay in Slovenia past 3 months if you
a) have a job
b) can pay for your costs - i.e. health care etc.
c) are a student

N.B. you have to register at the local authorities. Youreurope.com may be your best friend with the registration part. If you get stuck with the logistics just shout!

Good luck with your endeavour,

Dez
