Hi my name is Jim. I was interested in applying for a teaching job in Gabon. Seems like an interesting place to live and work. I have not lived in a country where it rains so much. From the charts its seems to rain everyday. Where do children go to play? Or do they like playing in the rain?

Dear Jim,
We have rain seasons and dry seasons in Gabon. Actually it is raining every two or three days and it can get really bad (thunderstorms and heavy rains) but températures rises so quickly that everything dries up fast. Rain rarely lasts for the whole day and the kids can more than often play outside, swim, run, no problem... Just tropical!! :-)
