NewSkies NSS-9 (C-band) (East Asia/West Pacific)

I'm going to attempt to catch a signal off this satellite with a 2.5mtr dish but really need to have a good idea how to aim towards it. I checked a few sites that Google gave me but none were for this area of SEA.  I do know that I'm right at the edge of the foot print so getting it right is important. Anybody got any ideas it would really be appreciated.  It's suppose to be located at 183.E.
Thanks

Have you tried these sites yet?

There's apps for that, as well.

See your local satellite dealer - they usually set up for VN sats but they can do the rest to.

These dealers also sell 'subscription' cards, special edition.

A word of caution. If the dish is visible from a public area, the Cong An might drop by and ask to see your registration / permit card. Easy to get if you are a Foreigner  / out in the country.

At my office we have a couple of dishes and until I built a concealment around them, we used to get visits. One is used for InterNet service from HongKong.

Most of the Cong An just know they are satellite dishes - VN dishes are one metre - K Band - but some do have a good idea of the angle/direction they should be pointing in!

Your local dealer should be able to fill you in on the details.

I've PMed you with some local dealers in the Can Tho area - too many to post, besides Priscilla might get excited.

If you are in a windy location you might have to put attachments (preferably plastic) on the dish perimeter to stop it blowing away.
