Respect and hard work won't get you a cup of charred corn and carcinogens coffee here.

You have to have a college degree and a skill that can't be filled with Vietnamese. No H1-B program here.

The heavy hitter for working in Vietnam is teaching English. It pays exceedingly well and even near-illiterates can get hired. If you want to hit the ground running then get your certification online. It's not grueling work but you have to be patient.
