if i have to exit the philippines, how long do i have to be gone to re-enter? my fiance says 24 hrs. and i cant find anything on the net. please help.

You need leave one day and return the next day. So if you leave at 11:30 pm one day. You can return at 12:30 am the next day. As long as it shows you gone a day on the stamp.

If your an American best bet will be Guam or Hawaii, then return.You can try to get the new extended visa once you arrive at Manila or Cebu, before they stamp your passport, it should cost about 2700 pesos a cording to the imigration officer as I was recently there.Good luck.
