How much does it cost to live in Lebanon?

Accommodation - 700$ rent incl. service
Food - monthly +1500$ (2+2kids)
Health - 50$ per doctor visit
Education - cca 3500$ (private primary school)
Mobile phone bills - 35$ month
Menu - 35 - 50$ person
American Coffee - 3 - 5$
Cinema ticket - 10 - 15$

Beirut:

> public transportation fares: taxi (service) 2,000 LL for short trips within the neighborhood, 6,000-10,000 LL to nearby neighborhoods; 8,000 LL for full taxi (not service) within neighborhood. 

> food prices: I do NOT have a standard diet, but I spend about $75-80 per week for my husband and I.

> health prices: $100 for eye checkup, $60 for consultation with cardiologist and $40 for X-ray

> education prices: $200 per university credit; about $4,000 +/- per elementary student

> common bills: IDM card, $28; MTC Touch card, $26

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant: $20 or less for two people

> price for a coffee or a drink: best cocktail 10,000 LL
