How much does it cost to live in the Bahamas?

How much does it cost to live in the Bahamas?

> accommodation prices - anywhere from 1500 USD and up PLUS all utilities and it is A LOT the price of the electricity - plus 1 month in advance---

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.) -- cheap 2 USD one way

> food prices (your monthly budget) ---bread- 4 $ and up, a jar of pueanut butter small is 6 USD a can of coffee small 6 USD and up , a salad 5 USD , so pretty much 3 times more then you pay per item anywhere in Canada or USA or Europe

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance) --covered in another reply -- and depending on the situation of course--

> education prices (if you need to pay) -- kindergarten 2 kids 900 USD

> energy prices (oil, electricity) -- 900 USD and up electricity, water 200 US and up per Month

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant -- 40 USD for a regular restaurant and up for the higher end of course

> price for a coffee or a drink -- 4 USD and up

> price for cinema tickets - 12 USD per ticket per person without any pop corn or anything
