Where to live near Valencia City?

Hi, we are a family of 4, 2 of them being under 3yrs old, who are in the process of relocating from Javea. We have found life a little too quiet here since relocating from the UK 2 years ago. We would really appreciate anyone's thoughts on the best areas to settle in or around Valencia City that aren't too quiet. We need to keep everyone busy! We need easy links into the City centre and large living space and decent outdoor space as i work from home. An apartment isn't going to be suitable so slightly out of the city seems likely. We are planning to use the Spanish school system at present.
We have looked at L'Eliana, Torrent and Godella/Rocafort briefly so far. Has anyone any comments on these as places to live with a young family? Or suggestions of other areas we should consider? Many thanks

Hi Isabelle, I am Christa from moving2valencia Relocation Support. We know quite well the region Valencia and Valencia itself.
L´Eliana, Godella / Rocafort / Masarrochos / Campolivar are very good places to live with young children. The last 4 neighbourhoods closer to Valencia then L´Eliana. But L´Eliana has good transport connections to Valencia. Torrent is a bit further away. Also nice areas close to Valencia are Urb. Mas Camarena / Torre y Cornill and La Cañada (Paterna) with all the possibilities of large living space and outdoor space. And of course public schools and / or bilingual schools.
In Valencia itself the only area that could be interesting would be the area of the City of Science and Arts  / Paseo Alameda with its beautiful Parque de Turia as outdoor space. There are big appartments renting / buying possibilities.

I hope this information has been usefull to help you to find your ideal home around Valencia. Have a nice weekend, Christa
