I think you better check that from the provider's website. As for the installation (if coverage is available), the workers here can do it for you with some patience from your side. Normal Sats here are Nilesat and Arabsat.

I can install it in 30 mins but putting the decoder in my suitcase needs to be worth it. Its obviously no point if the frequency is not transmitted, thats the essence of my question.

So please, if anyone is receiving DSTV in Saudi, please respond.

Some good news.
Multichoice is beamed across Saudi. Select filter packages and enter multichoice.
Seems it is possible to pick up broadcast.
Well at least now i know i wont be missing motogp, bokke and proteas.
