Where To Shop For Clothes/Fashion ????

Where is the best place to shop for western clothing for good prices in Ho Chi Minh City other than Saigon Square ? I am not having any luck...thanks so much ☺️

That's because most women have their clothes tailored!

If you want something you've seen in a magazine/catalogue - just cut it out/copy it and take it to your favourite seamstress. A repairer type seamstress is called a THO MAY whilst a designer is called a NHA THIET KE (at least in Buon Ma Thuot).

These trades people have skills in certain styles. For example, my wife's Tho May is great at female clothing, but a dead loss doing stuff for me. So I have one who specialises in men's clothing. They are very good at getting the 'hang' right - the 'grain' of the cloth - quite ingenious how they can change appearance by running cloth in different directions for women's clothing.

It helps if you have a swatch of cloth, or buy your own material (there is a cloth market here).

u can go to Kata, Luky Plaza or Russian Market :)

I think Russian Market is a good place for you with acceptable price,

The 'Russian Market', so called because all the cheap (as in no money) Russians used to go there way back when.

The selection of clothing is limited, of poor quality. It's the sort of place you would go to buy a windjammer for a trip, then throw it away on your return.

If you have money to blow try Parksons.

Thank you all for the replies!! 😉

Wow
I am still in USA , but this haunts me as well . I have large feet and am afraid I will not be able to buy size 13 , or EU47-48 shoes .

Yes they are big feet . Ahem ... okay again where can I get Italian Shoes ( La Sportiva ) , or other good makes ? I do not want to order from internet , or fly home to get clothing every few months . Wow .

Cheers : V.V.  ;)

My girlfriend likes to shop on Cach Mang Thang Tam. She is Vietnamese-sized though.

Thanks Matt :

I need a place for large - tall Western people .
This is my concern , finding clothes that fit properly !

Thanks again Matt .  V.V.
