Is 6000RM enough to live in mlayasia for a sing;e person? I am from kolkata, india and want a decent saving. How much can i save pm after paying taxes ? Please help ..

Cost for one person:
1,000RM for shared room.
100RM for utilities.
800RM/month for food,
100RM telephone
200RM transportation
300RM/month health insurance
150RM minimum doctor consultation (minimum 20,000RM for uncomplicated surgery).
1,560RM/month Income tax (can be 26% of your yearly salary, check the bracket or ask your employer). If 26%, 18,720RM tax/yr, based on 72,000 yearly.
Total 5,620/month with tax.
Only interesting if your employer pays for your income tax, then 4,000RM meaning you can save 2,000RM.
