Tips on where to meet nice people

Hi,

la mulți ani everyone! I have been living and working as a lecturer in Iasi for half a year now. I am generally content with my decision to come here and psyched about the chance to learn Romanian, but what with having been sick a lot in fall and a high course load I have only been able to make one friend here so far and I am starting to feel a little lost. So I came here to meet other people in Iasi who would like to chat, maybe go out for coffe or walks, and also maybe some tips on where to meet nice people, where you mingle in your time of?
