I have been living and working in PNG for six years with the same employer in construction, building, mining and shipping, working across the nation from Port Moresby to a sinkhole in the southern highlands. Working in the Safety and HR field has definitely been challenging, however I absolutely love it. The days range from dealing with management, immigration, visas, to negotiation with landowners down to consoling an employee on the death of a family member.
