Hi! My name is Maria, a Filipino. I hold graduate degrees in Economics from New Zealand and Australia. I plan to work while traveling around the Middle East. Am I allowed to seek employment while I am on holiday in Oman? If so, is working as a tutor/instructor possible in Oman schools even I don't go through the channels the OFWs pass through? The answer to your questions is "NO".
Working on a tourist / visit visa is "Illegal" in Oman and if caught, you'll face a deportation with an entry BAN.
