It is not easy to settle in Canada and jobs cannot simply be found when you arrive there. I suggest that you read through the many posts on the Canada forum about moving and settling there.

While you mention that you have a "medical background" you don't say exactly what. If it's nursing then you'd need to check with the Nurses Association of whatever province you decide to settle in to see exactly how they wish you to have your credentials recognized in Canada.

To search for jobs, try www.monster.ca   or   www.workopolis.com

If you do find a job then visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada's official government website, fill in the online information and see if you qualify for a visa.   www.cic.gc.ca/english
