Where to fly from: Manchester or London

Hi Guys,

I got my work visa within 3 days of applying and I am in the process of getting the flight tickets (hopefully today).

The cultural bureau has asked me to specify my trip starting point. I currently live in Manchester but really hate flying from Manchester. I would rather do London.

In the future, I would want to ask my employer to give me vouchers to buy my own tickets instead of them providing me with Saudi airline tickets.

What do you think about my situation. I want to hear some opinions.

You can fly from London if you prefer, although I havent tried flying from Manchester. Regarding your plane tickets, some companies would give you an option to book your own flights and will reimburse your expenses accordingly.

Manchester Is great to fly from if your coming to Jeddah middle day flight arrive 9 pm nothing of the silly times in the early hours

If someone is going UK, and in that trip he want to add France, that means in between his stay in UK he could also visit France for couple of days, what should he do?
Can we have both visa at same time and fly to UK
OR
do we need to go UK first and then apply for France visa from there?
Your help would be appreciated.
