My husband and I are seriously considering taking the plunge and moving to Cuenca. I see and hear so much conflicting information the internet. One of our biggest concerns is medical. I am 51 and had a Heart Attack at 47. My husband is 59 and in excellent health. We worry if any of the insurance plans will cover me. No one can foresee the future and no matter what country you are in a Bypass can be quite costly. It may never happen but I guess that is why it is called insurance! Does anyone have insurance with a Chronic Condition?
Will I qualify for Healthcare in Cuenca Ecuador?

Thanks, Enjoying reading the Blog. We should be taking off for Cuenca in about a year. Just trying to make sure their are not surprises, at least concerning the really important things
