Getting Married in Egypt

The process and the time-line will be according to you, her, and both families.
There are 3 main parts for Egyptians but one of them is the essential part.

1- engagement
2- Called in Arabic (Katb El Ktab) "this part is the extra part for us as Muslims and the essential part as I mentioned before"
3- Wedding

Again time line is according to what you guys plan no rules for it

The engagement was done last year.
All is good I understand all that part as a Muslim. My concern is with the paper work the marriage certificate.

U will have marriage certficates that proves u are a married couple 💏

U needvan I'd card or passport nd two men to witness your marriage certficate

As the couple has different nationalities they will definetely need some more paperwork... Check the website of the canadian embassy for correct information - or send them an email.
