Family Adventure
I am a n OR nurse and my wife an Xray/MRI tech. We have 3 boys ages 6,7 and 8. We would like to plan a family adventure and move to and work in a Caribbean island somewhere. We understand that there is a lot of planning involved and really have about 2 years to make arrangements. Our 16 y/o daughter graduates high schol then. She has no interest in going with us. Anyway, here in the US there is a high demand for nurses and other healthcare professionals. Is that the same case in other areas such as the Caribbean. I keep mentioning the Caribbean but we simply want any tropical location though would prefer an English speaking area. (We have ordered the Roseta Stone Spanish Program and understand it is so good that I can teach my dog Spanish.) Also, if you can answer the question concerning the area that you may have expertise in, could you also tell me a little about the cost of living, housing, schooling for the kiddos and maybe direct me in the right direction. What sort of visas, passports, permits or other things are required to work in different areas? Thanks in advance!
