Hello,

I am an american student in Rabat and I'm looking to rent a violin for two months. Or if anyone knows of a store where I can rent string instruments that would be helpful too.
I have been playing for 15 years and I quite miss it.

If you type

into Google a number of options comes up. They may be able to loan you a violin or point you in the direction of someone who could.

This could also have the added bonus of your being able to play the violin with young Moroccans and as you have been playing for 15 years, perhaps you could teach them something.

In addition, they might be able to teach you! Have you seen the cha'abi style of playing the violin? It's when the violin is played in a similar manner to a 'cello, upright, resting on the knee and not tucked under the chin.
