Hello razamadni,

On behalf of everybody here at Expat-blog, welcome on board. I hope your participation here will be both enjoyable and informative.

Perhaps you'd like to tell us all a bit more about yourself, where you come from in Pakistan, how long you've been here in Brazil, etc.

It might be extremely helpful for you to share with us some of your experience with the Brazilian bureaucracy, getting your visa, etc. Brazil unfortunately makes it much harder for citizens of Pakistan and India to obtain visas than they do for many other nations, so your experiences might help many of your countrymen in their struggle to get visas. Did you get your visa on the first try? I know that I have gotten many messages from members from your homeland and it appears that it's much easier for them to have their Brazilian girlfriends come to Pakistan to get married there than it would be for them to come here to get married. This kind of information from you would be extremely helpful.

Cheers,
William James Woodward, Expat-blog Experts Team

Read the following topic posting from two other Pakistani citizens and you'll see just how difficult it is for some of them. This is just one of many that I've heard from, but the complaint is always the same and he is NOT underestimating the situation one little bit. You can probably get to the moon easier than get into Brazil. Really!!!
