I applied for temporary permit as well as permanent residency both through Craig Smith & Associates. Temporary one was submitted in March 2014 and the visa came through in Sep which is good comparing to over a year waiting time that some people experience. The permanent one was submitted in May and is still in progress, so another 3 months for home affairs to deliver or Craig Smith will take DHA to court for a speedy outcome  :)

Unfortunately Craig Smith is being monitored by Home Affairs for fraudulent dealings. See here:

I don't think that stuff about Craig is fair, he is fighting against home affairs, winning case after case... It just looks like DHA ran out of things to do and made up that case out of spite.
