As I and 4 others prepare our final steps to register a Philippine corporation, we decided to alert expats on the new changes this week at BID. Soon there will be no more ACRI Cards.. yes!!! Please understand that the new program is called: Alien Registration Program (ARP) and it results in a permanent Special Security Registration (SSR) number being imprinted on ARP card with a micro-chip. DO NOT Waste time/money to renew your old ACRI cards prior to Oct 1, 2014.
The new ARP starts on October 1, 2014 and ends on September 30, 2015. More news coming on this from our website as soon as we get our final approval from the SEC on our consulting corp.
