I am a Pakistani engineer, due to move to kuala lumpur for university of Malaya PhD program in 2 months with my wife. Can some body help me find a place to rent that is close to UM campus? Following might help:
Rent:600-800
Specs: partially furnished (bed/ fridge etc)
Pakistani muslim community preferred
Will I have to pay advance rent too?

I am afraid you are very unlikely to a flat or appt for that kind of money. The minimum would be RM1000-1500. Usual terms are 2 1/2 months deposit and 1 month rental in advance.

I invite you to place an advert in our Housing in Kuala Lumpur section so as to find a rental, however like our VIP member Gravitas told you, it is very unlikely for you to have a rental in the budget that you have.
