Does anyone know about the visa requirements for marrying a Mozambican in Mozambique?
My partner said I need to be on a 6 month visa -- however it seems I am unable to get a 6 month visa. I last went for a work visa in Mbabane just this month, and even with the documents for a 6 month contract, they gave me a 3 month visa, valid for max 30 days, and said they don't issue 6 month visas.
We checked with immigration in Maputo to see if they can extend my visa and said it was not possible, and could't help with any more info.
Is there anyone with a contact in Immigration to even just talk to them to see where/how I can get a 6 month visa?
What can I do?? I'm not really sure what to do from here. We're planning our wedding for Jan 2015, so would like to start the processes with the Wedding Palace in Oct.
