For PNU Teachers Who May Not Have Heard:
Salaries that were supposed to be paid yesterday were not actually initiated due to some glitch at HR. Teachers who went to HR yesterday were told that they should expect their September 21 salaries with their October 20 salaries, i.e., NOT this month. There was a glitch of some sort in the system. Teachers are hoping that PNU will do advances, but nothing's been confirmed yet.
You'll get your salary in full without any deduction when you get it, so no worries there.
Also, lots of exit/re-entry visa applications were lost, so if you applied for a visa weeks ago and haven't heard anything, yours could've been in the lost pile, so you should go back to HR ASAP!

Okay, so it's been confirmed that PNU TEACHERS WILL NOT BE PAID THIS MONTH. HR has said teachers will be paid on October 19 and not before. Teachers will get both salaries of course. AnY teachers who really need money can go to HR and ask for an advance, but it has to be done by NOON TOMORROW because HR staff will leave early for the break.
By the way, if you're reading this and you were one of the teachers who went on teaching strike last week, please don't do it again! It only affects the rest of the teachers because management DOES NOT CARE! All it means is that your fellow teachers who came to work will have to cover all your classes. Not fun.
