I visited Al Ain a few years back and loved the place.
Some places I visited were:
The Zoo
The "green" Mubazarah - where you get the hot Al Ain springs and lush green parks.
Jebel Hafeet - nice drive up. As you make your way up, you will observe the temperature dropping - by about 5 degrees from the base to the top.
The various private farms with date palm trees and springs.
