Relocating Oct aaaaand excited :D

Hello my name is Shawn I haven't been here very long but getting out of downtown Abu Dhabi daily will not be easy or peasant on a daily bases. Buses are available and taxis are all around the Malls and tourist club areas but once you get into one it will still take you a very long time (25-35 mins by taxi) to get out of that area. I have taken that cab ride a fell times now looking for apartment and I can tell you its about 50 AED one way from downtown Abu Dhabi to Al Raha which is next to Khalifa City. I don't know much about car pooling I would say try to talk to some of the people you are working with and ask them where they live and see if you can get a ride that way. There are ads on Dubizzle about car pooling if you want to try that.  I would say Abu Dhabi is ok place to live a lot of different people and things to do if you are willing to try new things and meet different types of people.
