Hi
I work as a project manager in an IT company in India. My hubby has an offer in a good company there and we are considering moving to Muscat. My question is how good is the IT market there? Are there lots of companies in IT?

Compared to India, Oman's I.T. sector is still in its nascent stage. There are only a handful of known I.T. companies. And most such companies are primarily into basic website development. Nothing more advanced.
Secondly, if you are planning on getting an employment opportunity here then it could be a big challenge, since there's a blanket ban on employing expatriate women (barring some select sectors such as women's tailoring, nursing, housekeeping, etc).
