Importing personal dj equipment in VIetnam

Why import? There is an area in Quan 5 and along NHAT THAO Street where you buy all sorts of 'DJ' equipment.

They even have the Jamaica-type coffin-sized speakers.

If you do bring your own goods, as long as they are not too large or ostentatious, and can fit in regular baggage, you can likely get away with it. Just say your are touring the region.

Quận means "District", and refers to HCMC.   See below for a good map of the districts.

There's a "Nhật Tảo street" in Quận 10, so maybe that's what the bug-man was thinking of:

I've never been on that street, so I have no idea if that's what he's talking about.  I'll let him clarify if he wishes, but if you have time, and you're nearby, you might want to check it out.

Sorry, I'm not into that sort of music, my interest is equipment sourcing related.

NHAT THAO Street is close by the intersection of 3 THANG 2 Street and LY TRUONG KIET Street in Ward 4, Quan 10.

Use www.DiaDiem.com for maps of the larger VN centres.
